We don't expect you'll have to use the waiting room for long, but if you do you'll have a nice comfortable couch to relax on with soothing sounds of water and soft music. We also offer filtered water and hot tea for your enjoyment
The Naturopathic Center was founded by
Dr. Jennifer Kaumeyer. She is now the 4th generation doctor in her family but the first to go alternative.
Her father, a radiologist in Louisiana,
indirectly inspired her to pursue the route of alternative medicine. He often discouraged her from becoming a doctor because of his familiarity with the business-like
attitude of the conventional field of medicine. She could not
be discouraged, though, from pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor.Because of her passion for nutrition and nutritional biochemistry, Dr. Kaumeyer decided to explore other options. During her investigation, she learned about Naturopathic Medicine and instantly fell in love with the philosophy. So, she decided to take the
“alternative” route and could not be happier with
her decision to pursue a career in Naturopathic
Medicine. Not many people wake each morning excited about their work. Dr. Kaumeyer feels lucky that she does what she loves and loves what she does.
